Prophecy Rooms

What is prophecy?

Prophecy is a message inspired by God, based on a spontaneous and personal revelation from the Holy Spirit, often as a result of enquiring of the Lord and given in a spirit of love for the purpose of building up, encouraging, or comforting people (1 Corinthians 14:3), promoting reconciliation with God (1 Corinthians 14:24-25), instructing and learning truth in Scripture (1 Corinthians 14:31), or imparting, discerning, and confirming callings and gifting (1 Timothy 4:14-15).

What is Prophecy Rooms?

Prophecy rooms consist of 2-3 trained volunteers in prophetic ministry who pray with individuals and share prophecy in a safe and accountable environment. This structured approach emphasizes training in the gift of prophecy while safeguarding its practice by:

  • Briefing recipients on how to test prophetic words using Scripture, wise counsel, and personal discernment.

  • Encouraging audio recordings for reflection, accountability, and future reference.

  • Ensuring multiple people, including both genders, are present during each session.

While prophecy rooms highlight the value of prophecy within the body of Christ, they are intended to complement - not replace - personal prayer and an individual’s relationship with God.

Prophecy rooms are held on select Monday nights throughout the year. They also often take place at larger-scale gatherings organised by P&W, such as Tehillah Worship Festival.
