Tehillah (pronounced teh-heel-ah) is an invitation for all to come to God’s banquet table to feast on His goodness and presence together. A three day worship festival, set apart for free-flowing worship, breakthrough prayer, and fellowship.
According to Psalm 22:3, God inhabits and sits enthroned on the ‘Tehillah’ (spontaneous praise) of His people. He is drawn to the simple, honest expressions of our hearts and desires to dwell there. Where He is, there is inexpressible joy.
Tehillah Worship Festival is a 3 day worship festival featuring 52 hours of continuous prayer and free-flowing worship in a field.
Throughout the early years of P&W, our community would gather over Easter each year to host 24/7 prayer meetings, in a small building. In 2019, the Lord clearly led us to take our worship and prayer out onto a field, and from this the first Tehillah Worship Festival was born. People from all over the region and beyond celebrated Jesus Christ for 50 continuous hours, and over 45 churches unified to pray for the gospel to advance in the local churches in our region and abroad. We believe this inter-church event, and others like it, will continue to grow as effective tools to bring the generations and streams together with the vision to exalt Jesus and unite to intercede for His Kingdom.
The revelation around God inhabiting our spontaneous praises (Psalm 22:3), was what drew us to the name Tehillah. The song of praise we sing directly from our hearts, to God, is where He desires to dwell. God is looking for worshippers who will worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:23). We believe that God is calling us to continue to lift up our Tehillah and contend for His Kingdom to come.
In 2023, we held the second Tehillah Worship Festival, which transitioned into a 3 day camping event where we sought the Lord together. Many were awoken to God in His sanctuary again, or for the first time. The fields and everything in them were filled with His jubilance (Psalm 96:12).
